From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and top-notch service. the self-catering apartment was elegantly decorated with a cozy living area, fully equipped kitchen, and a delightful terrace with barbecue facilities - perfect for enjoying the stunning panoramic views. My furry companion was also well catered for, with pet amenities available for a small fee. the surrounding area offered plenty of activities such as hiking and cycling, making it an ideal spot for exploring the breathtaking landscapes. the nearby Chatsworth House was a must-visit, only 2.9 km away. Sarah and Peter, the hosts, went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the peaceful and private setting allowed for a truly relaxing experience. Overall, I cannot recommend Moorland View Lodge enough - a hidden paradise just 60 km away from Manchester. Whether you're a nature lover, a pet owner, or simply seeking a tranquil escape, this charming lodge is sure to impress. I am already looking forward to my next visit and creating more unforgettable memories in this idyllic setting.
